We have arrived!!!
After a 7 hour flight and a 3 hour wait at JFK border control (Their computers packed up) we have finally arrived. Today we have been exploring our new and wonderful surroundings and also trying to sort out our WiFi. It really is a concrete jungle, although the way it rained today, some might say its a concrete rainforest. We also explored a bit of Central Park which was full of joggers my kind of crowd lol.
One last thing Simon nearly went down the escalator the wrong way which I found rather amusing.

After buying some much needed food and a subway ticket, we were off to see some sights. First stop was Times Square an amazing place it really is the crossroads of the world. We found the Hard Rock Cafe where we both enjoyed he national dish 'Burger and fries'. The array of musical instruments was pretty impressive i especially liked Paul McCartney's guitar.

Next up was the Rockefella centre, we decided to go right to the top to the observation deck. The views from the top were amazing and never to be forgotten. I'm glad that we went to the observation deck at night because seeing the New York skyline at night was special.
